Walking & Writing Series: Talleyrand Park

Join us in June for a series of guided writing walks at Talleyrand Park in Bellefonte, PA.

We'll be engaging in sound walks, scent walks, texture walks, and more!

Open to anyone ages 18+ unless accompanied by an adult. Families welcome!

Daytime Series: Thursdays, 12:00-1:15pm, June 5-July 3

Evening Series: Tuesdays, 5:30-6:45pm, June 3-July 1

Colors of the Wilds

Join us for PA Wilds Child at Black Moshannon State Park! We'll be working with colors to create a collaborative visual poem of our surroundings.

With Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts taking place in early July, we thought it might be a good time to break out some of our arts-based writing programming. Stay tuned for sessions on integrating photography, found objects, and more into your writing.

Offerings

We are constantly coming up with new ideas for engaging with the places that matter to us and the communities we serve. Some of our regular offerings include:

Nature-inspired writing workshops
Walking and writing programs
Arts-based writing sessions
Young authors' camps

We also do a lot of work with schools and community organizations, some of which includes:

Developing writers' identities
Cultivating writing engagement
Scaffolding academic writing
Writing for local change
Community storytelling
Writing a place (e.g., neighborhood)
