We offer a wide variety of workshops and programs for individuals, groups, organizations, and schools. While we primarily serve Happy Valley and the counties across the Pennsylvania Wilds, we are always open to a lengthier adventure. See below for upcoming events and other offerings.

Walking and Writing Series

Our Walking and Writing series is back on Tuesdays this June. If you're interested in building community while engaging in low-stakes observational writing, come wander with us! Open to anyone 18+. Start time is 10:00am.

Wonder Wednesdays

Families! Join us this summer on the third Wednesday of each month for arts and writing crafts.

All activities will take place at Governors Park in Bellefonte from 10:00-11:00am.

Open to youth ages 6-12. Exceptions made for families with multiple children.

Pop-up Poetry Workshops

Stay tuned for information on some low-stakes pop-up poetry workshops. We're talking strawberries in verse, plant pantoums, and burning haibun (yes, there will be fire!).

Offerings

We are constantly coming up with new ideas for engaging with the places that matter to us and the communities we serve. Some of our regular offerings include:

Nature-inspired writing workshops
Walking and writing programs
Arts-based writing sessions
Young authors' camps

We also do a lot of work with schools and community organizations, some of which includes:

Developing writers' identities
Cultivating writing engagement
Scaffolding academic writing
Writing for local change
Community storytelling
Writing a place (e.g., neighborhood)
